george wainborn park | vancouver, bC

This dramatic six acre park and architectural water feature is the winner of the 2006 National Citation Award for Design from the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects.

A focal point within the park, the water feature takes the form of a large circle. It is comprised of tiered pools and massive concrete and stone elements and is surrounded by planting, benches and paths. The design is intended to capture the essence of a glacier, and mimic water’s natural movement within.

Aesthetically and structurally captivating, this unique water attraction also includes a multi-head fountain and reflective infinity pool with a cascading waterfall.
