Green by Adera | Burnaby, BC

Nestled against the 80-acre Byrne Creek Ravine Park, Green by Adera is a landmark 325-residence eco-development—the first multi-unit residential project in BC to achieve Built Green Gold status. To complement its sustainable architecture, VHA designed an extensive, multi-phase aquatic ecosystem that weaves through the complex's four seasonal sections: a stepping cascading tiered waterfall in Spring, a tranquil reflecting pond with bubble jets in Summer, a meandered stream-like river in Fall, and a dramatic rock-formation waterfall in Winter. This continuous water journey connects the landscaped courtyards and pathways directly to nature, enriching the community's award-winning green living experience with the relaxing sight and sound of moving water.
