Capital Park | victoria, bC

A recent addition to one of Victoria’s most charming neighbourhoods, these elegant residences are complemented by a series of water features stretching out to a large public plaza directly south of the provincial legislature and Victoria’s picturesque Inner Harbour.

Nestled into the exterior of an adjacent shopfront, a triangular water wall flows into a reflecting pool, capturing the serene surroundings in its surface. As residents leave their homes, these architectural features usher them into the public plaza, where a fountain pool and suspended pavement occupy the east side of the lively space.

Spray jets spread across the pool and pavement create a pleasant soundscape and offer respite from the heat in summer months, while also directing the eye up to enjoy stately views of the capital’s parliament buildings.
